Swedish brand Gaston Luga launches in India

Swedish accessories and lifestyle brand Gaston Luga has launched in the Indian market. The brand plans to bring its utilitarian designs to the country’s shoppers and has partnered with a number of multi-brand online marketplaces.

“With a rich history of blending Scandinavian aesthetics with practical design, Gaston Luga is set to redefine the Indian accessory landscape,” announced the brand in a statement, India Retailing reported. 

For its India debut, Gaston Luga has partnered with Maison ID8 Brands, a business which specialises in bringing global lifestyle brands to Indian shoppers, Indian Retailer Bureau reported. The brand’s minimalist, Scandinavian accessories have launched on multi-brand platforms Tata Cliq, The White Crow, and Ajio Luxe among others to ship across the country. 

Gaston Luga is based in Stockholm, Sweden and specialises in men’s and women’s bags for practical, everyday use. The brand’s products include small shoulder bags, backpacks, and specially designed camera bags with a range of compartments. The brand retails from its direct to customer global e-commerce store. 
 
The brand’s own e-commerce store has platforms for countries including the UK, US, and Thailand. Gaston Luga recently collaborated with camera brand Nikon to launch a camera bag and uses PETA approved waterproof vegan leather, according to its website.
