Textiles and apparel business Donear Industries plans to launch 50 new stores in India as a mix of speciality stores and multi-brand outlets. The business aims to highlight its recently launched ‘neo-stretch’ textiles as well as its premium fabric lines.
“This year, we will be launching two new retail formats- speciality stores and multi-brand outlets,” said Donear Industries’ managing director Rajendra V Agarwal, ET Retail reported. “Specifically curated for menswear, the speciality stores will feature a comprehensive range of products crafted from our four-way stretch fabric.”
The business will focus on West and North India for its initial expansion as it already has an established presence in the regions. The stores will open with a franchise model to keep investments minimal and Donear Industries plans to launch 50 stores as a mix of exclusive brand outlets and multi-brand outlets over the coming two years, each measuring between 600 and 1,000 square feet, the Economic Times reported.
“We will be establishing a chain of multi-brand outlet stores under the Donear Group umbrella,” said Agarwal. “These outlets will serve as one-stop destinations, showcasing collections ranging from premium luxury fabrics to general apparel.”
