Dior unveils its spring-summer 2024 collection with a campaign that marries the brand’s heritage with contemporary feminism, as conceptualized by Maria Grazia Chiuri. The advertisements, photographed by Tina Barney, celebrate femininity in its most diverse and expressive forms.
Dior Spring/Summer 2024 Campaign
The images from the French fashion brand feature a cast including Alice McGrath, Honey Ordonez, Rosanna Ovalles, Mauve Dupuy, and Ying Ouyang. They navigate through various rooms with opulent decor. These vignettes of space and timelessness are a tribute to the self-assertive spirit of the modern woman.
The Dior spring 2024 collection includes a mix of textures and transparencies, featuring sheer fabrics, intricate lace, and coats adorned with fine embroidery. These elements combine to create an ethereal, historical, and avant-garde quality, a hallmark of Chiuri’s design ethos.
The iconic Dior Toujours bag is reimagined in crinkled leather, carrying the micromanage pattern, and footwear like the Diorebel boots and Adiorable pumps, embellished with white resin beads, add a touch of boldness to the delicate apparel.
Stylist Elin Svahn brings a subtle sophistication to the ensembles, complemented by Peter Philips’ minimalist makeup and Damien Boissinot’s sleek hairstyles. Together, they craft a look that is quintessentially Dior—understated yet impactful.
As a precursor to this campaign, Dior also introduced a new advertisement for the Miss Dior parfum, linking the house’s rich fragrance legacy to its current fashion.
