Tira opens 11th India store in Mumbai

Reliance Retail’s multi-brand cosmetics and personal care retailer Tira has opened its 11th store in India to date in South Mumbai, located on Peddar Road inside the Vama department store.

“New store opening,” announced Dubai-based beauty and wellness retail consultancy business The Othr Lab’s executive director Nirant Khedkar on Linkedin. “11th Tira Store at Vama, Peddar Road, South Mumbai now open. Tira has now taken over South Mumbai.” 
 
The new Tira store houses a wide selection of skincare, makeup, personal care, fragrance, and bath products from both Indian and international brands. By launching a new outlet in South Mumbai, the business aims to connect with more shoppers in the city and increase brand awareness. 

The store also features a range of technology designed to increase shopper engagement, India Retailing reported. These include smart mirrors which enable shoppers to virtually try on makeup products and an artificial intelligence driven fragrance finder. 
 
Tira made its brick-and-mortar debut in Mumbai in April 2023 at Reliance Industries Limited’s Jio World Drive and made its offline debut in New Delhi in February this year. Tira also runs a store in Mumbai’s Malad neighbourhood. The business retails brands including Alan Truman, Dr Sheth’s, Foxtale, The Derma Co, Huda Beauty, and Mac Cosmetics among others, according to its website.
