Ilem Japan opens first stand alone skincare store in India

Skincare brand Ilem Japan has opened its first stand alone store in India in Pune’s Phoenix Mall of the Millennium in Wakad. The store retails the brand’s range of men’s and women’s nature-inspired products. 

“Ilem Japan proudly announces the opening of its first-ever store in India at Phoenix Mall of the Millennium, located in Wakad, Pune,” announced The Phoenix Mills Limited’s leasing manager Steffi Panakaparambil on Linkedin, sharing a promotional video by the brand. 
 
Ilem Japan’s products use Japanese ingredients chosen for their natural properties such as sakura (cherry blossom) extract which is used in its skincare to calm redness and help damaged skin, the brand announced on Facebook. Ilem Japan’s products include hand creams, mild cleansers, body scrubs, shaving balms, and moisturisers among others. 

“Expressing gratitude as we wrap up 2023, especially for the holiday mentions that made our winter essentials shine,” announced Ilem Japan in its 2023 year-end post on Facebook. “Each article is a snow-kissed memory in our year-end tale. Thank you for making our season unforgettable!” 
 
The brand also announced on social media that it has opened eight kiosks in the past three months to reach new customers and increase brand visibility. These are located at located at Mall of Travancore in Thiruvananthapura, Prozone Mall in Coimbatore, The Great India Place Mall in Noida, Z Square Mall in Kanpur, Lulu Mall in Lucknow, Db City Mall in Bhopal, Prozone Mall in Aurangabad, and Nexus Celebration Mall in Udaipur, India Retailing reported.
 
Ilem Japan launched in April 2021 as a digital first start up in the beauty and wellness space. The business retails in Japan and India as well as the US.
