“At this season of Lakmé Fashion Week in partnership with FDCI, we showcased Aikeyah’s essence: blending something new, something old, and something borrowed from memories and daydreams, all intertwined with the timeless charm of roses,” said designer Isha Dhingra about the showcase in a press release.

Aikeyah’s collection ‘For Dreamers’ featured the brand’s signature rose motif and highlighted hand embroidery techniques. Sheer layers added an ethereal feel and Kalki Koechlin walked as he brand’s showstopper in a gold corset.

Essé by Sahib and Sunayana presented ‘February 30’ as a collection which told the brand’s story. The label showcased its ‘Humans of Essé’ along with indigenous fabrics and craft techniques reinterpreted for a modern audience.

“It’s always amazing to be here at Lakmé Fashion Week x FDCI,” said Essé designers Sahib Dang and Sunayana Sahni. “Presenting our latest collection, February 30, has been an exhilarating experience. We’ve delved deep into the intricate tapestry of indigenous fabrics and timeless techniques of India, infusing them with a modern perspective. This collection is a tribute to the remarkable individuals that make Essé what it is – the hands, minds and hearts that infuse every creation with life and soul.”

Shahin Mannan’s collection ‘Unapologetic’ put self expression front and centre with bold colours and idiosyncratic motifs. “We are thrilled to unveil ‘Unapologetic’ at Lakmē Fashion Week x FDCI, a collection that champions the essence of embracing one’s true self without hesitation,” said Mannan.

Lakmé Fashion Week x FDCI runs from March 13 to 17 at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai. The fashion week is supported by Reliance and features runway shows, exhibitions, and panel discussions.
